What we record, and what we never do.

What we record

Which pages you open, which filters you turn on, where your visit came from (the site or link that sent you), whether you used a phone or a computer, and a few actions like creating an account or posting a review. A random ID stored in your browser ties your visits together. If you create an account, that ID and the link that first brought you are saved with your account.

What we never record

Anything you type: not passwords, not addresses, not search words, not the text of reviews or messages. We record that an action happened, not what was in it. SipSpot takes no payments: the café checkout on For Cafés is a TEST MODE demo that asks for no card. A test order saves the plan, the café’s name and a contact email in our own database, where only our team can read them.

Where it is kept

In SipSpot's own database. Our reports show counts only, never a person's name or email. We also use Cloudflare's basic visit counts for this site.
